- The rope leader with swivel is the connecting link between
winch rope and cable to be pulled-in.
- The swivel shall prevent the cable or the winch rope from
being damaged by too high twisting forces acting on the
cable and rope during pulling.
- The main part of the swivel is the plain bearing. The
characteristic of the plain bearing is that it will only
rotate for twisting force compensation at highter tensions.
- This will avoid the untwisting of the rope or the cable.
