winches of the series WS are equipped with dual capstan head and automatic
winding. They are mounted on a stable base frame allowing universal installation
on vehicle flatbeds or single-axle chassis.
The drive of the rope drum creates a pre-tension on the rope.
Because of the low pre-tension the rope is treated with care and its life
span will be long.
An exact rope coiling is not necessary because the rope is only coiled with
low pre-tension force onto the drum.
The pulling tension is created by the capstan head. The grooves of the head
protect the rope against too high wear.
The pulling tension remains always the same; independent from the rope length.
